Flight CL 4691

From: Amsterdam - Munich

Concerns: Denied boarding

According to the contract of carriage, the passengers were to be transported from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport via Munich to West Palm Beach in the US. Lufthansa denied the passengers boarding of flight CL 4691 from Amsterdam to Munich because it thought that the passengers were crew members. The passengers were not rerouted by Lufthansa and were told to find a solution themselves. At their own expenses, the passengers flew from Amsterdam via Washington D.C. to West Palm Beach with another airline.

Lufthansa stated by e-mail that the passengers were denied boarding because they were at the check in desk too late. Lufthansa feels it is not responsible for the denied boarding.
