Flight Delays
If your flight is delayed then you may be entitled to financial compensation.
When your arrival at your final destination has been delayed longer than three hours you could be entitled to financial compensation of up to € 600 per passenger.
Compensation for a flight delay
The level of compensation that you are entitled to receive is set by the distance of the flight in combination with the amount of delay experienced in arriving at your destination, due to the delay. If you fall within the scope of the Regulation, you are entitled to:
- € 250 for all flights of 1,500 kilometers or less;
- € 400 for all intra-Community flights of more than 1,500 kilometers, and for all other flights between 1,500 and 3,500 kilometers;
- € 600 for all other flights not falling in one of the above categories.
