Flight re-routed

You have experienced a re-routing if you arrived at your final destination with a different flight number and/or different airline and/or different route then was indicated on your booking/ticket.

There are two types of re-routing.

Re-routing with a different flight number - you have arrived at your final destination but with a different flight number than the one you were originally booked for.

Re-routed on a different route - you reached your final destination but the airline has changed your flight route.

Compensation for a re-rerouting of your flight
The level of compensation is dependent on the distance of your original flight and of the difference in arrival time with your substitute flight.

  • € 250 for all flights of 1,500 kilometers or less;
  • € 400 for all intra-Community flights of more than 1,500 kilometers, and for all other flights between 1,500 and 3,500 kilometers;
  • € 600 for all other flights not falling in one of the above categories.

With EUclaim you will receive a free advice determining if you are entitled to a financial compensation in the event of a re-routing.  After a positive advice you will be given the opportunity to choose the method of collecting your compensation, depending on your circumstances.
