European Consumers’ Organisation against plans European Commission

In a recent report, the European Consumers’ Organisation BEUC stands up against the proposal from the European Commission regarding a revised Regulation that protects passenger rights.

Passengers will be disappointed by the proposal. The airlines’ lobby seems to have worked. For example, the proposal states that passengers will be entitled to financial compensation when their flight is delayed more than 12 hours.

We are glad to hear that the BEUC does not agree with the changes and we will support them fully. The upcoming months we will describe parts of the proposal in more depth.

If you want to receive a copy of the BEUC report, you can ask for it by sending an e-mail to info@euclaim.co.uk.
