easyJet 25 years active at Schiphol: EUclaim shares numbers
Monday 6 April 2021 marked a milestone for easyJet. The British budget airline celebrated the 25th anniversary of the route between London Luton and Schiphol. This route was easyJet's first international connection in 1996. Nowadays, easyJet has a base at Schiphol and EUclaim shares some interesting numbers about this.
Over 40 destinations with easyJet from Schiphol
In the
early years, Schiphol was just a destination for easyJet, but since 2015 the
Amsterdam airport has been an important base for the budget airline. The base
now connects over forty destinations to the Netherlands. Due to the many
flights to different destinations, delays may also occur. In 2017, for example,
easyJet had the most lengthy delays (delays of more than three hours). These
were no fewer than 269 delays.
