Luggage allowance of UK airlines
weight and size limits explained
Budget airlines have changed their carry-on allowances last year. Especially Ryanair and easyJet have gotten stricter and only allow you to bring one item on board with you. Ryanair now even charges you €10 for your trolley. EasyJet is very strict when it comes to any extra bags. They have to fit into your trolley or you have to pay.

Airlines and baggage allowance
Passengers flying with airlines such as British Airways, KLM and American Airlines are also noticing the price changes in travelling with luggage. Most passengers on long-haul flights are travelling with checked baggage. This used to be free, but airlines have changed their ticket prices. The ‘light’ tickets no longer accommodates free checked baggage up to 23 kg. You now have to pay for that and it does not come cheap. We compared the prices of checked luggage with some of the largest airlines. It seems like the American and European airlines are the ones to charge you for luggage, whereas Asian and Middle eastern airlines do not.
