Summer favourites and how to travel to them
The summertime is upon us and that means that we can look forward to the excitement that comes with holidays: beaches, sea and sun! If you are among the many holiday makers going to Mallorca, Tenerife or Faro you may be interested in the performances of flights between the UK and your destination. Palma de Mallorca
We listed the five airports that suffered the most delayed flights between the UK and Mallorca last summer*:

Especially London Gatwick and Manchester Airport struggled with long delays between the UK and Mallorca last summer. The two large UK Airports are known for their amount of holiday flights in the summer. EasyJet operates most holiday flights between London Gatwick and Mallorca and holds a large part of the delays last summer. In total 156 flights were delayed for more than three hours last summer between the UK and Mallorca.
Tenerife
Tenerife, a very popular destination for British holiday makers, was also a destination that suffered high delays, however not as many as Mallorca. A total of 63 flights were delayed exceeding three hours between the UK and Tenerife last summer*.

Also between Tenerife and the UK, London Gatwick proved to deal with most long delays.
Faro
In the south of Portugal, Faro Airport is a commonly used place for British holiday makers to fly to. Last summer* a total of 63 flights were delayed for more than three hours between the UK and Faro. Again, London Gatwick topped the list with a high number of easyJet delays.
