    Ruling Confirms Air Passengers Entitled To Compensation If They Are Delayed Due To Technical Defect. A senior Judge has ruled in an appeal hearing against Jet2.com that airlines are incorrect to deny passengers compensation by claiming that technical defects which develop in-flight are ‘extraordinary circumstances’.

    Flight disruptions due to strike Italy

    Today, there is a general strike in Italy causing flight disruptions. The Air Traffic Control decided to go on strike between 11pm and 3pm local time.

    Are you planning to fly this morning? Keep an eye on the status of your flight, there are currently delays due to fog. The delays occur at London City, London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Also, Dutch airports Schiphol and Eindhoven Airport are having problems because of the bad weather conditions.

    EUclaim wins Easyjet Court case in the UK

    EUclaim started a legal procedure in the UK for flight U2 5073 of 22 July 2012. The flight was due to depart from London Gatwick to Nice. However, the flight was delayed for more than 3 hours.

    Yesterday at 7pm, local time, the announced strike from the French Air Traffic Control started. The strike will probably last until Wednesdaymorning 8am, local time.
